Check out our 2020 Antiques Road Show itinerary which departs 14th September. We will visit Scotland for the first time as flying back to Australia with a stop over in Lisbon, Portugal. We will be staying in 3/4 star boutique hotels in some of England’s and Scotland’s oldest and most interesting town and cities. We will be visiting large and small antique fairs including, village antique and collectable events, even a boot sale or two. Town and country dealers, auctions and antique emporiums are also part of this UK road trip.

In between bargain hunting we visit some the UK’s most beautiful countryside, stately homes, cathedrals, castles, picturesque villages with welcoming old pubs are all part of the tour. This is a trip for a small number (between 10 – 15 travellers) and it is a very flexible tour. If we discover something locally and the group wants to explore and enjoy we can easily change our plans to include (but not our hotels). Touring is in a comfortable Mercedes coach. 2020 Age of Discovery – Portugal

In October 2020 it is time for you to discover Portugal and all the beauty, culture and history it has to offer just like Prince Henry, the Navigator did in 1412 when he ordered the first expeditions to the African Coast and Canary Islands. This capped off the Portuguese Age of Discoveries.

This tour will take you around this beautiful country. Starting in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon you will get your first look at the Tagus River whilst walking along the famous cobblestone streets. Take in some rich culture and history with a Fado show and taste authentic Portuguese tarts.

From Lisbon you will then explore the North and visit the birthplace of port wine, Porto. From there we make our way to Algarve in the south, which is known for its Mediterranean beaches, resorts and whitewashed fishing villages on low cliffs overlooking sandy coves.

This is a trip for a small number (between 10 – 15 travellers) designed to take in the rich culture of the country whilst experiencing their laid-back lifestyle.
